My name is Jennifer Rossi and I own JMR CareerXploration. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy (minor in Creative Writing) from West Chester University, and my Master of Education degree in Counseling in Higher Education from Widener University, I found my passion for career and professional development.
I’ve enjoyed working in career development for the past 6 years. In addition to owning this business, I work full time in the Career Development Center at a university in Philadelphia. I guess you could say that working full time in career development wasn’t enough for me, and so, JMR CareerXploration was born back in 2009!
I’m certified to administer and interpret the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and qualified to administer and interpret the Strong Interest Inventory. I love using career assessments to assist clients in their career exploration and professional development.
Over the past 6 years, I’ve helped just over 800 people with their resumes and cover letters. I have relationships with many HR recruiters/hiring managers, and I’m actively involved in several professional associations that center around career development and human resources professionals (NACE, EACE, PennACE, SHRM). I know what employers want to see when they look at a resume/cover letter, and I want to share this with the world! When a person has the resources to land their dream job, they have the privilege of waking up every morning and loving what they do, just as I do. I provide the opportunity for people to pursue career happiness, one client, and one resume, at a time.
